On this site you will find pictures of cemetery entrance signs for various cemeteries in Canada. With the help of people submitting pictures they take of cemetery signs in their areas I am hoping that eventually this site will have cemetery signs from many, many cemeteries across Canada.
Why have a site of cemetery signs? While putting together my own family history albums I had pictures of headstones of my ancestors and thought it would be nice to complete the pages by having a picture of the cemetery sign they are buried in. I figured if I thought this then surely someone else might have a need for this too.
It’s a great idea, and can help add a bit to anybody’s genealogy website or photo album.
