In The Albuquerque Tribune (NM), Jan Jonas has written about Lillian Stock, a lady who returned to the small town her family was from, her genealogy research, the motivations behind her genealogy research (namely research about her aunt whom she was named after, and who died before she was born).

People get into genealogy for all sorts of reasons, at different ages. Trying to learn about a relative you were named after would probably rank in the top ten, if not top five reasons.
