DAR Marks 90 Years in Salem Oregon

In the StatesmanJournal (Salem, Oregon), C.A. Fisher writes about the Salem (Oregon) chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution celebrating their 90th birthday. This is a milestone in this day and age, for the Daughters of the American Revolution, a major genealogy society in the US. In recent years more and more younger women have been joining – in the not-too distant past, it seemed like younger memberships were declinging. Genealogy isn’t their only focus, but they put a lot of effort into preservation of important genealogical-related information.
