In the Daily Journal (Park Hills, MO) , Donny Hickman has written an article, Tracing family roots over 6,000 miles, concerning two men tracing their family back to Slovakia, and how much they were able to piece together. A very fascinating article.
Writing for Scotsman.com, Rhiannon Edward writes about the research that has been done by genealogists concerning David Cameron (a member of the Tory party). Mr. Cameron was apparently unaware that he is related to the Queen. The article goes into detail about his relatives, and it’s rather interesting how much is known (although not surprising).
The Texarkana Gazette has an article by John Fooks, covering a very interesting teacher, Texarkana College history teacher Dr. Beverly Rowe. She asked her students to research the history of the area and its buildings, and along the way, taught them how to do a little genealogy research.
